One of my first jobs after graduating high school was at a senior housing project in my home town of Aalborg, Denmark. It was one of the most giving and life changing jobs I have ever had and I am glad I got to have that experience before starting my studies in Photography. My first time visiting Fridhemmet I was immediately struck by the feeling of warmth and love between the staff and the elderly people living there. Fridhemmet is a housing project for people suffering from dementia in the southern part of Sweden and I was so lucky to get a chance to spend time with the residents for a period of two years.
